2025 Black College Football Hall of Fame “Clash at the Classic”
2025 Black College Football Hall of Fame “Clash at the Classic” to Air on NFL Network and Stream on HBCUGO.tv – Sunday, Aug. 31
INGLEWOOD, Calif. – August 26, 2025 – The 2025 Black College Football Hall of Fame “Clash at the Classic” will be broadcast live on NFL Network and streamed on NFL+ and HBCUGO.tv on Sunday, August 31 at 4:00 p.m. ET, as No. 19 Virginia Union University takes on No. 24 Miles College at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.
Calling the action will be Steve Wyche (play-by-play), joined by analysts Bucky Brooks and Isaiah Stanback, with Bridget Condon reporting from the sideline. Pregame coverage begins with NFL GameDay Kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET, followed by NFL GameDay Final immediately after the game.
For the first time ever, two reigning HBCU conference champions will open the season against each other in Canton. Miles College, the 2024 SIAC Champions, enters the season nationally ranked for the first time in program history. Virginia Union University, the 2024 CIAA Champions, begins its campaign as a Top 20 team in the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll.
The “Clash at the Classic” is part of the Black College Football Hall of Fame’s ongoing mission to elevate the visibility of HBCU football, showcase premier talent, and celebrate the historic legacy of Black colleges and universities in shaping the game.
