Six ACC Players Named to 2026 Paul Hornung Award Watch List
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Six Atlantic Coast Conference football players were named Monday to the 2026 Paul Hornung Award Preseason Watch List, announced by the Louisville Sports Commission.
The ACC's selections are California running back Adam Mohammed, Louisville wide receiver Tre Richardson, Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney, NC State running back Jayden "Duke" Scott, Syracuse defensive back/wide receiver Demetres Samuel Jr. and Virginia running back Solomon Beebe.
The Paul Hornung Award, presented by Texas Roadhouse, is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football. The 2026 preseason list includes 39 players from schools across nine FBS conferences.
Now in its 17th year, the award honors the late Paul Hornung, a Louisville native, Heisman Trophy winner and member of both the College Football and Pro Football Halls of Fame. The 2026 winner will be honored at the Paul Hornung Award dinner in Louisville in March 2027.
