Personal: Daughter of Paul and Marlean Felix. She has one brother, Wes, who is her agent. She began competing in track and field as a freshman in high school where they called her “chicken legs” due to her long, spindly legs. Her secret talent is baking, specifically cinnamon rolls and German chocolate cake. She is a self-proclaimed “fashionista” and has attended New York Fashion Week. Felix was a member of Barack Obama’s council for fitness, sports and nutrition. She is a Right to Play ambassador, and has traveled, through the organization, to Lebanon and Palestine, witnessing first-hand how play inspires children to improve their lives and communities. She is a #mother and #wife who continues to make strides in her career. After competition, she unwinds with a good steak and ice cream!
