Heels, Heels, Heels!
Ladies! This one is for you. If you know me then you know I love a great heel paired with an amazing outfit to rock an interview. So, I have compiled a list for your guidance of what heels you should wear so you can take the thinking out of it. Let’s get into it:
My first shoe of choice will always be a patent leather pump! It is classic, sleek, powerful, and simply stunning with every outfit.
The Steve Madden Vala Pump is just about the best pump you can buy! It is the perfect height for a heel with a slender pointed toe in the front. The shine of the shoe is designed to help you make the right statement at your interview into the office space. Wear this shoe and slay all day!My second shoe of choice is another pump but this pump is not a patent leather one. This one has a matte look and it works with every outfit. Thus, if you do not like a shiner shoe then this one can be for you as it will still make a statement with your outfit.
The Danna Point Toe Leather Pumps is the best of all heels. The height is perfect, the shoe is leather but does not shine. It is comfortable for walking and standing. Personally, one of my favorite shoes I have added to my collection.Moving on to my third shoe is a block heel. Although, I am not a huge fan of a block heel for an interview I understand not everyone is a skinny heel gal! So, a block heel that is tasteful is acceptable and sure to help you rock the outfit of choice is the Madden Girl Symbol Patent Pumps. This shoe is the perfect block heel that will add comfort to your style yet is still mature, sassy, cute, and one of my favorites.
Next, I have a wedge heel. Now I am not a fan of wedges, but I would rather you wear a wedge over a flat any day. So, here is my pick for a wedge heel that looks sleek, professional, and classy. As I previously stated in another article it is important to wear closed toes shoes therefore, that applies to the wedge heel. Do not wear an open toe wedged heel to your interview. You are supposed to be a boss lady not a Sunday lunch lady.
The Kenneth Cole wedge is perfect for your outfits! A wedge is comfortable but it can also be stylish. This heel will definitely make a statement so don’t sleep on it.Lastly- the flat! The flat should be a pointed toe shoe for those who absolutely do not like heels. A flat is usually not the first choice but if it’s your only option please make it mature. Below I will do you a favor and link a few different flat options because this shoe will literally set the tone for your interview.
Flat style 1: Minimalist Point Toe Penny Loafers, these loafers are great as they have a very small/ thin heel with a pointed toe. They are mature to go with many styles and no matter what you wear with it- pants or a skirt it will compliment it well.
Flat Style 2: Cortni Flat or as I call it the cut out flat. This flat is awesome for any style and attire. It is a true flat and no matter what it will look great. I also want to note that polka dots and stripes may not be a good choice. Please go with a solid color as it will be the best option always.
Flat 3: This mule style flat is mature and stylish. These flats would be considered my favorite ones as they are backless, and can go with any outfit. So, if you are more of a scandal girl then this is the one for you!
There you have it! I gave you my top and favorite styles of heels/ shoes to wear for an interview, but also to the office. These shoes are bound to make a statement and add to your look! Always remember to be your best and do whatever you need to make you feel like the absolute best!
