College Park Skyhawks Announce 2026-27 Schedule
COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — The College Park Skyhawks will open their seventh season in the NBA G League with a three-game homestand as the organization looks to bring professional basketball back to Gateway Center Arena with a schedule built around weekend games, community events and a full slate of rising NBA talent.
The Skyhawks announced their 2026-27 schedule Friday, with Opening Night set for Friday, Nov. 6, against Raptors 905 at 7 p.m. The matchup begins a three-game homestand that also includes a Nov. 8 meeting with Raptors 905 and a Nov. 10 matchup against the Long Island Nets.
College Park will play 24 home games during the season, including 12 on weekends. All home games will be broadcast locally on Peachtree Sports Network, with additional broadcast information to be announced.
“We are thrilled to bring the energy, excitement and Skyhawks spirit back to Gateway Center for an incredible 2026-27 season,” Janice Koon, senior vice president of G League operations for the Atlanta Hawks, said. “We look forward to showcasing the NBA’s rising talent and bringing our community together on the Southside through the game we love.”
The schedule also places an emphasis on family and youth programming, with all seven Sunday home games designated as “Kids Day” games. The events can include on-court activities and programming designed for children and young basketball fans.
A busy November at Gateway Center
The Skyhawks' opening month will feature six home games, tying January and February for the most home games in a month during the season.
After opening against Raptors 905 on Nov. 6, College Park will host the same opponent again Sunday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m.
The Long Island Nets visit Gateway Center Arena on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m., before the Skyhawks return home later in the month for a pair of games against the Delaware Blue Coats.
College Park will face Delaware on Friday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m., before closing November against the Maine Celtics on Monday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m.
The early stretch gives the Skyhawks an opportunity to establish momentum at home while introducing fans to the next wave of NBA talent expected to pass through the G League throughout the season.
Education Days highlight December and February
Community programming will remain a major part of the schedule.
The first Education Day is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m., when College Park hosts Maine in a rematch from the November meeting.
The Skyhawks will then embark on a four-game road trip before returning to Orlando, Florida, for the 2026 NBA G League Winter Showcase.
Following the Showcase, College Park begins the regular-season portion of its schedule with its first home back-to-back, hosting the Capital City Go-Go on Dec. 29 and Dec. 30.
Another Education Day is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 11 a.m., when the Skyhawks welcome the Noblesville Boom.
The matchup will mark the first time Noblesville visits Gateway Center Arena since the franchise rebranded as the Boom.
College Park will then host the defending NBA G League champion Greensboro Swarm for consecutive games on Feb. 16 and Feb. 18.
January brings longest homestand
January features the Skyhawks' longest uninterrupted home stretch of the season.
College Park will host four consecutive games at Gateway Center Arena, beginning with back-to-back meetings against the Westchester Knicks on Jan. 11 and Jan. 13.
The Skyhawks will then face the Grand Rapids Gold on Jan. 15 and Jan. 17.
After a brief road trip, College Park returns home for games against Delaware on Saturday, Jan. 23, and the Windy City Bulls on Sunday, Jan. 24.
With six home games scheduled during the month, January could become one of the most important portions of the Skyhawks' regular-season schedule.
Road-heavy finish awaits
The schedule becomes more road-oriented in March, when College Park will play a season-high seven road games compared with three at home.
The Skyhawks will host the Motor City Cruise on March 14 and March 16 before closing their home schedule against the Noblesville Boom on Tuesday, March 23, at 7 p.m.
That matchup will serve as College Park's final regular-season home game.
How the G League season works
The 2026-27 NBA G League schedule is divided into two portions.
Each team will play 14 games during the Tip-Off Tournament, which begins Nov. 6 and concludes with the championship being decided at the 2026 NBA G League Winter Showcase in December.
Following the Tip-Off Tournament, team records reset for the 36-game regular season.
At the conclusion of the regular season, the top eight teams in each conference will advance to the NBA G League Playoffs. The postseason will culminate with the NBA G League Finals in April 2027.
For College Park, the first objective comes much sooner.
Opening Night against Raptors 905 on Nov. 6 will officially begin the Skyhawks' seventh season — and a 50-game journey that brings professional basketball back to the Southside of Atlanta.
