Gladiators Re-Sign Forward Adam Eisele
DULUTH, Ga. — The Atlanta Gladiators announced Tuesday that the team has re-signed forward Adam Eisele for the 2026-27 season.
Eisele, 25, returns to Atlanta after scoring three goals in 10 regular-season games and four goals in six playoff games last season, leading the team in goals during its first-round playoff series against South Carolina.
Eisele first signed with the Gladiators on March 27 following his senior season at Ohio State, where he recorded 13 goals and seven assists for 20 points in 36 games. The 6-foot-2, 208-pound forward served as an alternate captain for the Buckeyes in 2025-26 and tied for fourth on the team in goals.
Before Ohio State, Eisele spent three seasons at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he scored 25 goals and 34 assists for 59 points in 107 games with the Mavericks, helping the program capture NCAA CCHA championships in 2023 and 2025.
A native of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, Eisele played in the NAHL, USHL and BCHL before his collegiate career, spending one season in each league from 2019 to 2022. He scored 18 goals and 25 assists for 43 points in 51 games with the NAHL's Fairbanks Ice Dogs in 2019-20 and was named to the NAHL All-Rookie First Team. The following season, he recorded two goals and two assists in eight games with the USHL's Youngstown Phantoms before joining the BCHL's Penticton Vees in 2021-22, where he logged 13 goals and 13 assists for 26 points in 27 games and helped the Vees win the Rogers BCHL Cup.
"Adam came in late last season and made an immediate impact both in the season and in the playoffs. He is a big body that moves well, with an elite shot and release," Gladiators head coach and director of hockey operations Matt Ginn said.
Ginn added that Eisele fit in seamlessly with the group and is expected to be a key part of the forward rotation heading into the new season.
Eisele joins Max Neill, Connor Caponi, Kyle Pow, Anthony Cipollone, Joey Cipollone, Jack Blake, Stephen Calisti, Ryan Nolan, Kirklan Irey, Sam Tremblay, Mickey Burns, Ethan Strang, Corson Hopwo, Andrew Jarvis, Josh Winquist, Mike McNamee, Branden Troock, Mason Ward, Brendan Less, Colton Friesen, Jordan D'Intino and Ryan Conroy as players who have signed with the Gladiators for the 2026-27 season.
