Simone Biles- Owens Opens up the Kentucky Derby and Hits at Retirement!

One of the most decorated Olympians of All Time graced the Derby stage in a lavish purple dress, studded with jewels, rocking a beautifully matching hat to open the race.

While of course, we all rave over the Goat, it was not her mere presence that got people talking. It also was not her husband - for once drawing any extra attention. However, it was the fact that we may not see the originator of the Biles 1 and 2 in LA 2028.

On a carpet interview she was asked what her focus was and the answer was simple- starting a family.

Gasp for air! But, also not really. Biles- Owens has showed much interest in ending her career and no better way then to do it on a high note with the 2024 Olympics. Achieving a rack of medals to re- seal her goat status (3 Gold, 1 Silver).

She has mentioned before that she is getting older and wants to enjoy her life. Her marriage, and whatever else the universe has for her.

Arguably, we would say she is far from old. But, realistically speaking, many gymnasts do not last as long as she has. Simone needed a redemption and revenge tour- which she rightfully earned.

Her next season of life will be wonderful and we cannot wait to see her future baby bump!
