R. Amir Gant, an experienced coach who has successfully blended his career between collegiate and high school coaching, is returning to the high school ranks. After serving as an assistant coach and passing game coordinator at Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU), Gant has been appointed the new offensive coordinator at Lake Cormorant High School in Mississippi.

His experience isn't limited to the collegiate level; he has also served as a head coach at Fayette-Ware High School, a wide receivers coach at Fort Scott Community College, and has coached at the prestigious Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis.
