Tuskegee Rolls Past Clark Atlanta 70–53 to Reach SIAC Championship Game
MORROW, Ga. — The Tuskegee Golden Tigers men’s basketball advanced to the championship game of the 2026 SIAC Men's Basketball Tournament with a decisive 70–53 win over the Clark Atlanta Panthers on March 6 at the Clayton County Convocation Center.
Tuskegee set the tone early with aggressive defense and efficient shooting, gradually building a lead that Clark Atlanta struggled to overcome.
Guard Kusamae Draper delivered a dominant performance, leading Tuskegee with 20 points while controlling the tempo of the game.
The Golden Tigers used strong rebounding and defensive intensity to limit Clark Atlanta’s offensive opportunities, forcing turnovers and converting them into transition baskets.
By the second half, Tuskegee had built a comfortable margin and maintained control until the final buzzer, securing a spot in the championship matchup against top-seeded Morehouse.
