Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl Headed to Atlanta in 2027, Marking a New Era for HBCU Football and Career Opportunities

The Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl is officially coming to Atlanta.
The Black College Football Hall of Fame announced that its nationally recognized postseason all-star showcase will relocate to Atlanta beginning in 2027, bringing one of the premier celebrations of Historically Black Colleges and Universities football, culture, and professional development to one of the nation's most influential sports cities.
The move signals a major step forward for the event, which has grown into far more than a football game. While the annual bowl continues to spotlight top NFL Draft-eligible talent from HBCUs across the country, it has also become a powerful platform for career advancement, networking, and educational opportunities.
The 2027 Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl Career Fair will take place on Friday, February 26, followed by the game itself on Saturday, February 27. Additional information regarding tickets and week-long events is expected to be announced in the coming months.
Atlanta's selection as the new host city comes with significant advantages. With nearly 50 HBCUs located within driving distance, organizers believe the move will dramatically expand participation in the event's career programming while strengthening connections to the rich traditions and legacy of HBCU culture.
