The 2025 Black College Football Hall of Fame “Clash at the Classic” will be broadcast live on NFL Network and streamed on NFL+ and HBCUGO.tv on Sunday, August 31 at 4:00 p.m. ET, as No. 19 Virginia Union University takes on No. 24 Miles College at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

The Black College Football Hall of Fame (BCFHOF) today unveiled the 2025 Watch List for the prestigious Black College Football Player of the Year Award, presented annually to the most outstanding football player from a Historically Black College & University (HBCU). The recipient will be honored with the Deacon Jones Trophy, a symbol of excellence, perseverance, and leadership.

This year's class represents a remarkable cross-section of gridiron greatness, featuring 23 players and four coaches who have left an indelible mark on HBCU football.
