Clemson Cruises Past Florida State 80–67 in ACC Matchup

CLEMSON, S.C. — A balanced offensive performance helped the Clemson Tigers men's basketball secure an 80–67 victory over the Florida State Seminoles men's basketball Saturday afternoon at Littlejohn Coliseum.

Clemson controlled the tempo early, using strong perimeter shooting and aggressive drives to the basket to build a double-digit lead midway through the first half.

Forward PJ Hall led the Tigers with 21 points and nine rebounds, showcasing his versatility with scoring inside and from mid-range. Guard Joe Girard III added 17 points, including three 3-pointers that energized the home crowd.

Florida State attempted to rally early in the second half behind its athletic frontcourt, trimming Clemson’s lead to single digits.

However, Clemson responded with a decisive run sparked by defensive stops and transition baskets.

The Tigers’ disciplined offense and rebounding advantage helped maintain control through the final minutes as Clemson secured another key ACC victory.
