Georgia Tech Hall of Fame Class of 2026 Announced
The Georgia Tech Hall of Fame Class of 2026 has been announced, honoring nine former student-athletes, coaches and staff members whose accomplishments have left a lasting impact on Yellow Jackets athletics.

Headlining this year's class are former football standouts Jeremiah Attaochu and Harrison Butker, along with recently retired coaches Danny Hall and Grover Hinsdale. The class also includes four All-Americans from baseball, golf, track and field, and tennis, as well as longtime communications staff member Mike Stamus.
The 2026 class will officially be inducted on Friday, Oct. 9, before being recognized during halftime of Georgia Tech's football game against Duke on Saturday, Oct. 10.
Football Legends Lead the Class
Attaochu and Butker headline the Hall of Fame class after establishing themselves among the greatest players in Georgia Tech football history.
Attaochu remains the program's all-time leader in career sacks, while Butker, who has enjoyed a successful NFL career, continues to hold Georgia Tech's all-time scoring record.
Both players were instrumental in the Yellow Jackets' success during their collegiate careers and now join the university's most prestigious athletics honor.
Legendary Coaches Earn Hall of Fame Recognition
The Class of 2026 also celebrates the careers of two coaches whose influence extended well beyond the playing field.
Danny Hall, one of the most successful baseball coaches in program history, is being recognized following his retirement after building Georgia Tech into a perennial national contender.
Joining Hall is Grover Hinsdale, whose decades of leadership and dedication helped shape Georgia Tech athletics and the student-athlete experience.
Four All-Americans Added to Hall of Fame
Four former All-Americans will also be inducted into the Georgia Tech Sports Hall of Fame:
Matt Gonzalez – Baseball
Jerome Miller – Track & Field (High Jump)
Jillian O'Neil – Women's Tennis
Seth Reeves – Men's Golf
Each earned national recognition during their collegiate careers while contributing to the success of their respective programs.
Mike Stamus Honored for Service
Longtime Georgia Tech communications professional Mike Stamus will also be inducted after retiring from the athletic department.
Stamus spent years promoting Yellow Jacket athletics and helping tell the stories of Georgia Tech's student-athletes, coaches and programs. His contributions behind the scenes made him a respected figure throughout college athletics.
Steve Zelnak Receives First Honorary Letter
Georgia Tech will also introduce a new tradition in 2026 by presenting its first Honorary Letter to Steve Zelnak, recognizing individuals who have made a significant impact on the Institute without competing as varsity student-athletes.
A Georgia Tech alumnus and longtime supporter, Zelnak has served on the boards of both the Alexander-Tharpe Fund and the Georgia Tech Foundation, helping guide fundraising efforts and supporting major athletics facility improvements.
The honorary recognition celebrates his decades of leadership, philanthropy and commitment to advancing Georgia Tech athletics.
Hall of Fame Weekend Set for October
Georgia Tech will officially induct the Hall of Fame Class of 2026 during a ceremony on Friday, Oct. 9, at the Exhibition Hall on campus.
The inductees and honorary letter recipient will then be recognized before Yellow Jackets fans during halftime of Georgia Tech's football game against Duke on Saturday, Oct. 10, celebrating the accomplishments of one of the university's most accomplished Hall of Fame classes.
