The newly released renderings for the Panthers Stadium Renovation offer more than a glimpse into the future of Bank of America Stadium—they represent a long-term investment in the Carolina Panthers, the city of Charlotte and one of the fastest-growing sports markets in the country.
The $1.3 billion renovation project will modernize one of the NFL's oldest stadiums while creating an entertainment district designed to attract fans, major sporting events and concerts throughout the year. Construction is expected to continue through 2030, with major fan-facing improvements beginning in 2027.
More Than a Football Stadium
The updated renderings reveal a transformed venue featuring redesigned concourses, expanded gathering areas and enhanced premium experiences while maintaining the stadium's recognizable identity in Uptown Charlotte.
The project also includes:
A new Panthers practice facility scheduled to open in 2027.
A 4,400-seat indoor performance venue expected to open in 2029.
Enhanced hospitality spaces capable of hosting events year-round.
