MEAC Unveils 2025 All-Conference Football Honors

November 25, 2025 – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has officially announced its 2025 All-MEAC Football Teams, celebrating the exceptional talent, commitment, and competitive spirit displayed by student-athletes throughout the season.
North Carolina Central led all programs with 12 First Team selections, followed by Delaware State with six and South Carolina State with five. Morgan State and Howard each earned two First Team honorees. All recognitions were determined by votes from the conference’s head football coaches and sports information directors.
The conference’s Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year will be revealed on Tuesday, Dec. 9, during the National Football Foundation’s Annual Awards Press Conference at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, beginning at 9 a.m. PST. The event will stream live on ESPN+.
Specialty Award Winners
Offensive Lineman of the Year: Roger Smith, South Carolina State
Rookie of the Year: Raymond Moore III, Morgan State
Coach of the Year: Chennis Berry, South Carolina State
South Carolina State standout Roger Smith delivered another dominant campaign in the trenches, becoming the second straight Bulldog lineman to claim the conference’s top offensive line honor. The veteran anchor helped lead a unit that generated more than 5,000 yards of total offense and fueled one of the nation’s top passing attacks.
Morgan State freshman quarterback Raymond Moore III capped a breakout first season with more than 1,000 passing yards, nine touchdowns through the air, and six more on the ground. He appeared in nine contests with five starts, earning Rookie of the Week honors six times and emerging as one of the top young talents in the country.
In his second season at the helm, South Carolina State head coach Chennis Berry continued to elevate the Bulldogs’ national profile, posting a 9–3 record and an undefeated 5–0 run in MEAC competition. The performance secured the program’s second straight conference championship and another berth in the Cricket Celebration Bowl.
