‘Quarterback’ Returns With New Faces and Bigger Storylines
NEW YORK (May 13, 2026) — Netflix is bringing back one of football’s most popular behind-the-scenes series this summer.
The streaming platform officially announced Tuesday that Quarterback will return for Season 3 on July 14, giving fans exclusive access to four NFL quarterbacks throughout the 2025 season.
This year’s lineup features:
Jayden Daniels
Baker Mayfield
Cam Ward
Joe Flacco
The series once again promises an inside look at the pressure, preparation and personal moments that come with playing the NFL’s most scrutinized position.
Jayden Daniels Headlines the New Season
One of the biggest storylines entering Season 3 surrounds Daniels, who enters Year 2 with the Washington Commanders after a breakout rookie campaign put him firmly in the national spotlight.
The dual-threat quarterback is expected to be a major focus of the series as he attempts to establish himself as the long-term face of the franchise while handling rising expectations both on and off the field.
Veterans and Newcomers Bring Different Perspectives
Mayfield returns to the spotlight after helping stabilize the Buccaneers’ offense and keeping Tampa Bay competitive in the NFC.
Meanwhile, Ward enters the league carrying the pressure that comes with being the No. 1 overall pick, making his transition to the NFL one of the season’s most anticipated storylines.
Flacco’s inclusion may be the biggest surprise. The veteran quarterback and former Super Bowl MVP reportedly navigates a midseason trade to Cincinnati during the series, adding another unexpected chapter to his career.
NFL and Netflix Continue Successful Partnership
Produced by Netflix, NFL Films and Omaha Productions, the series continues the NFL’s push into sports entertainment storytelling.
Executive producers include Peyton Manning and Patrick Mahomes, further tying current and former NFL stars into the project’s production.
The series premieres globally July 14.
