NFL Expands Global Reach With Historic International Slate
NEW YORK (May 13, 2026) — The NFL’s international push is reaching a new level in 2026.
The league officially unveiled a record-breaking international games schedule Tuesday, featuring nine regular-season matchups across four continents, seven countries and eight stadiums.
The expanded slate includes first-ever NFL regular-season games in Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro and Paris.
New Markets Headline the 2026 Schedule
The international schedule begins Sept. 10 in Melbourne, Australia, where the San Francisco 49ers will face the Los Angeles Rams at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Later in the season, Rio de Janeiro hosts its first NFL game as the Baltimore Ravens take on the Dallas Cowboys at Maracanã Stadium.
Paris also enters the NFL rotation this year, with the Pittsburgh Steelers facing the New Orleans Saints at Stade de France.
London Remains Centerpiece of NFL’s European Presence
London will once again host three games during the season, continuing one of the league’s strongest international partnerships.
The schedule includes:
Colts vs. Commanders
Eagles vs. Jaguars
Texans vs. Jaguars
The Jaguars’ appearance marks the franchise’s continued international presence in the United Kingdom.
NFL’s Global Vision Continues to Grow
The league says the expanded schedule reflects its long-term vision to grow the sport internationally and strengthen fan engagement outside the United States.
In total, 62 NFL regular-season games will have been played internationally following the 2026 season.
With international fan bases continuing to expand rapidly, the NFL appears committed to making global games a permanent cornerstone of the league calendar.
