NEW YORK — The NFL is once again putting music at the center of its football experience.

The NFL and Roc Nation announced the 2026 Songs of the Season lineup Tuesday, Sept. 1, bringing together established names and emerging artists whose music will become part of the league's 2026-27 season.

The initiative will feature music from nine artists and groups across NFL platforms and league broadcast partners throughout the season. Songs will be incorporated into NFL+, @NFL social channels, in-game broadcasts, stadiums and team social platforms, giving the featured artists an opportunity to reach football fans throughout the season.

The 2026 lineup spans hip-hop, R&B, alternative, Latin and other sounds, reflecting the broad relationship between football and music culture.

Among this year's featured artists are Lil Uzi Vert, Infinity Song, Lismar, Patrick Martin, Soge Culebra, Gio Dee, Lucien Parker, Memphis Bleek, The Cab and Donel.

“Music and football have an incredible ability to bring people together, and Songs of the Season allows us to celebrate the artists helping shape culture while introducing their music to fans in meaningful ways throughout the season,” said Jessica Boddy, vice president of commercial operations and business affairs. “Together with Roc Nation, we’ve built a platform that celebrates an exciting range of artists and sounds, while creating new opportunities for music to become part of the moments, emotions and memories that define an NFL season.”

Nine artists, nine different sounds

The 2026 Songs of the Season collection brings together artists at different stages of their careers.

Lil Uzi Vert leads the lineup with “Poured,” while Infinity Song contributes “One Foot Out.” Lismar's selection is “madrid,” followed by Patrick Martin's “Only Good At Being Young” and Soge Culebra's “Angel de la Guarda.”

Gio Dee and Lucien Parker team up for “We Keep Goin,” while Memphis Bleek contributes “No More.” The Cab's selection is “Pain,” and Donel rounds out the collection with “Everything Bless.”

For several of the artists, the connection between music and football goes beyond the opportunity to have their songs featured during games.

Infinity Song's Momo Boyd compared the teamwork required to create music with the collaboration that takes place on a football field.

“Growing up, music was our family sport,” Boyd said. “Everybody has their own role, but the magic only happens when everybody plays together.”

Lismar drew a similar connection between athletic preparation and the work required to develop as an artist.

“An NFL player is out there perfecting his craft every day so when game day comes he's ready,” Lismar said. “I'm doing the same thing with my music, perfecting my flow, my writing and my sound.”

Gio Dee said his selection, “We Keep Goin,” reflects the perseverance required in both football and music.

“It takes the same kind of hunger, discipline, sacrifice and belief in yourself to pursue either path,” Dee said.

Football fandom runs through the lineup

The artists also bring personal connections to NFL teams and football culture into the project.

For Lucien Parker, the relationship is particularly close to home. The Minnesota Vikings fan said music and sports have both played a role in shaping culture and connecting people.

Patrick Martin's connection to football is similarly personal. Growing up in Wisconsin, Martin said the Green Bay Packers represent more than a football team to many people in his community.

“Nothing feels more like home than being with loved ones on a Sunday watching the Packers play,” Martin said.

Donel also connected his music to his experience as a football fan, recalling attending his first NFL game in London while wearing a Miami Dolphins jersey.

Soge Culebra said the energy surrounding a Dolphins game helped inspire his excitement about bringing his music into an NFL stadium.

For the NFL, those personal connections are part of what makes the initiative more than a playlist.

Music becomes part of the NFL season

Songs of the Season will be integrated throughout the NFL ecosystem during the 2026-27 season, allowing the featured music to accompany everything from game broadcasts and stadium experiences to social media and digital programming.

The initiative also continues the NFL and Roc Nation's partnership around music and culture while supporting the league's Inspire Change platform and its work surrounding social justice initiatives.

The 2026 playlist is available now on Apple Music and other major streaming platforms, giving fans an opportunity to hear the complete collection before the songs begin appearing across the NFL season.
