Since returning to her alma mater as head coach in April of 2016, Adia Barnes has built Arizona Women’s Basketball into a fixture on the national stage of college basketball while developing her own legacy as one of the top coaches in the sport.

Coach Adair was named the head coach for the Arizona State University women's basketball program, on March 27, 2022. A Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Coach of the Year, Adair's coaching career includes stops at Georgetown, Wake Forest, College of Charleston and most recently, the University of Delaware. 

Niele Ivey was named the head coach in 2020. Ivey was the common link to all nine of the program’s Final Four appearances, two as a player and seven as an assistant coach.

Texas A&M named the 2021 SEC Coach of the Year Joni Taylor as the eighth women's basketball head coach in program history on March 23, 2022.

In four seasons as head coach, Tomekia Reed has led Jackson State University women's basketball to the top of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. 

Amaka Agugua-Hamilton comes to Virginia after serving as the head coach at Missouri State the past three seasons. She is a native of Herndon, Va.

McPhee-McCuin made history of her own after the 2021-22 campaign, becoming the first woman in Bahamian history to coach at the men’s national level serving as an assistant with the Bahamas Men’s Senior National Team during World Cup qualifiers.
