MEAC Launches New Quarterly Wellness Newsletter for Student-Athletes
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has introduced a new quarterly wellness newsletter dedicated to supporting the overall health of its student-athletes. Created to promote mental, physical, and emotional well-being, the newsletter will deliver practical tools, actionable tips, and reliable educational resources that help student-athletes succeed on and off the field.
MEAC Unveils 2026 Hall of Fame Induction Class
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has officially announced its 2026 Hall of Fame Class, honoring five extraordinary individuals whose careers have made a lasting impact on the conference and its member institutions. The inductees will be celebrated during the 2026 MEAC Basketball Tournament, held March 11–14 in Norfolk, Virginia.
MEAC to Host 11th Annual Youth Basketball Clinic in Norfolk
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is gearing up for its 11th Annual Youth Basketball Clinic, set for Tuesday, October 7, from 6–8 p.m. at the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center (1401 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23504). On-site registration will begin at 5 p.m.
HISTORIC FORMATION OF HBC4US ASSOCIATION UNITES LEADERS OF BLACK COLLEGE ATHLETICS
The commissioners of the four National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) conferences comprised of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) announced today the creation of the HBC4Us Association, a landmark alliance dedicated to protecting the integrity, legacy, cultural value, and competitiveness of HBCU athletic programs.
